Coffinworm - Great Bringer Of Night

Very unique sludge from Indiana, this is another must have, and the last one for the year. Enjoy!

Jail - At The Crossroads

Sludge from Philly, if you haven't heard this you should. Fans of Sourvein, Iron Monkey and EyeHateGod take note.

Fleshpress - Fleshpress

From the evil mastermind behind Deathspell Omega (Mikko Aspa) comes... Fleshpress! And it's not what you're expecting either.. straight eerie sludge/stoner!

Bunkur - Bludgeon

I'm not too sure which version this is but the LP is one very long song and a Burzum cover. Again sludge/doom... I'm starting to see a reoccurring theme with my posts.

Otesanek - S/T

“Slower than the second coming of Jesus Christ.” One of the greatest bands from Philly, the most evil sludge/doom you will ever hear on record. The band has recently called it quits but I will eventually upload the last album, which is also nothing short of magnificent. If your a fan of early Khanate I highly recommend this record!!!

Grief / 13 Split

13 is an all female (almost) sludge band from New York, and Grief needs no introduction. Fantastic split you can probably still pick up from Kreation.

Church Of Misery - Second Coming

Japanese Doom/Stoner/Sludge however you choose to classify the music. Members of Coffins and G.A.T.E.S.

Cruevo / Brainoil Split

Two really good sludge bands doing what they do best!

Download

Leechmilk - Starvation Of Locusts

Excellent record from the now defunct Leechmilk.. a bit of sludge from Atlanta, just listen to the song Dirtclot.

Download

Trees - Lights Bane

Sick drone/doom from Portland, OR. This record almost has an early Khanate feel to it, 2 songs, 30 minute record... the way I like it.

Download

Moss - Tombs of the Blind Drugged

Brand new Moss record! Just listen.

Iron Monkey - Our Problem

Bad name and even worse cover art. But the music totally makes up for it... prepare for some of the best sludge metal you've ever heard. In the vein of Eyehategod and Grief with some of the greatest vocals I've ever heard! Johnny Morrow singer of Iron Monkey passed away around 2002 from a fatal heart attack, bummer because the guy has been so influential.

Electric Wizard/Reverend Bizarre Split

Took me a long time to track this record down without buying it through Rise Above Records. Needless to say the record was well worth the wait, as much as I love the Wizard I have to say Reverend Bizarre's side is way better. I'm not just saying that because they do a great cover of Beherit's "The Gate Of Nanna."

Moss - Cthonic Rites

Mind blowing sludge/doom from the UK, this record was produced by Jus Osborne (Electric Wizard).
